The shelter staff think I am 3 years old.

Zeus is a 57-pound boy with a sweet smile and a distinctive “Harry Potter”–style scar on his forehead that gives him extra character. He was surrendered when his owners could no longer care for him, and he is adjusting to a new environment with patience and curiosity. Zeus is playful, independent, and very affectionate once he feels safe. He’s also great on a leash, knows how to sit, and has shown good behavior around other dogs. Loud noises and unfamiliar people can make him nervous, but he responds well to calm reassurance. Because he previously lived outdoors, Zeus will need help learning the basics of house training and adjusting to life inside a home. He’s a gentle, vocal dog who needs time to build trust, but once he does, his affectionate nature truly shines. Zeus is looking for a patient, understanding family who can help him grow in confidence and finally feel secure.
